June is almost over and for the past few days, I felt that I was in a hurricane. I was actually enjoying the first few weeks of the month planning my activities for July when, all of a sudden, I became totally disoriented!

Second Mind
I have been a pretty late sleeper recently. I’m not so sure though what’s keeping me awake. I’ve just read about the second mind and how it works well than the other mind. Well my second mind works a lot that it causes me to lose focus on certain things! Sometimes, in the middle of what I’m doing, I would suddenly remember that I had to do something else! All these thoughts, whichever mind worked, wouldn’t let me enjoy the comforts of my bed.
A Day in the Scottish Highlands
We departed Edinburgh at around 8 am and headed to the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scotts – Linlithgow Palace – and Stirling Castle. After we passed close to the Battle of Stirling Bridge, we headed to Callander, the ‘Frontier Town’ on the edge of the Highlands, for a coffee and tea stop. Remembering Edinburgh

Part 1 of 2
Tania, my friend from Yorkshire (now), sent me a message last week and told me about her nth trip to Edinburgh with her husband, Tristan, and her family who paid her a visit for the summer. “I’ll See You… Wherever!”
I got this the day my friend Irving left for Australia. I was a bit surprised when I received this, not only because I never expected him to hand me something before he went away, but also because this picture paints a thousand words for the both of us.
World Vision Development Foundation
World Vision is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization that helps over 2 million families in around 100 countries. It is the world’s largest Child Sponsorship agency.
The World Vision Development Foundation (World Vision Philippines, established in 1957) has since evolved from providing the most basic needs of children to addressing the root causes of poverty in their communities. It now emphasizes transformation focused especially on the needs, rights and responsibilities of children, people’s empowerment and sustainable development.
From a Fable About Following One’s Dream
I’ve finished re-reading The Alchemist, one of my favourite books, a few weeks ago and I just want to share these conversations-turned-quotes to everyone (especially to those who still haven’t read the book):
A Bit About Us
I found a video clip of the country cultural presentation we did during our SSEAYP days (that was way back in 2002). It was already edited and four prominent dances are shown here – the Ifugao Dance, Tinikling (Bamboo Dance), Kapa Malong-Malong (a dance showing the different ways of using the malong), and Singkil (Princess Dance or the Royal Maranao Fan Dance).
