I rarely watch TV nowadays since I’m out most of the time. But when I went to visit my Aunt last weekend, I was able to spend some time in front of the TV and I caught a glimpse of this wonderful advertisement from the Department of Tourism!
Looking at it, I can’t help but think that our incomparable hospitality, our smiles, and our love for laughter makes us truly a home in Asia!
I got the chance to watch Wanders last night (Big thanks, Lou! ) at PAGCOR’s Grand Theater with my college buddies after a dinner at Le Buffet. Although I have already seen a bit of the same performance in my visits to China, I was still excited to watch it since this one involved our very own talents, the Filipinos!
The show started around 30 minutes late but seeing how those amazing entertainers – Russian dancers, Chinese acrobats, and Filipino singers and dancers – put the show together outstandingly and make impossible moves (that’s based on my own flexibility! Haha!), I left the theater in a state of awe.
The Chinese contortionist girls startled the audience but personally, I loved and was captivated by the silk ballet performance called the “Fight of Love” and the “Spinning Diablo”. It was intimately and brilliantly performed.
The show is going to run until next year so grab your tickets at any Ticketworld outlet!
I am naturally a water lover – no, I’m not a swimmer (thank God at least Ailyn knows water rescue techniques – I asked her a number of times if she could save me in case there were water accidents), but I love the calming and relaxing feeling whenever I visit beaches or merely just whenever I hear the sound of waves.
We’re finally back in Manila after a 3-night, 4-day trip to one of Visayas’s island paradise, Boracay. It was a long weekend after all, so our minds were totally free from work-related matters and deadlines.
As it was an exclusive bonding moment for Ailyn and me, we had an easier and stress-free planning since we didn’t have to consult a lot of people. Aside from that, we didn’t have problems on what to do and where to go since we could go with ‘just anything’.
