The Past Few Days and Calories

It seems like I haven’t been able to pay much attention to what I have been eating since I arrived at La Jolla. My lifestyle is very sedentary these days (I’m still blaming it to the weather!) and after I had my first jog within the campus this evening, I realized that I am much heavier than I thought! I stopped several times simply because I can’t go any further! Looking back, there’s definitely no reason NOT to feel this way…

Day Trip to Los Angeles

We had an average day trip yesterday. The group left San Diego at 10 a.m. (quite late for an almost two-hour drive to LA, a few hours to go around, and another almost 2-hour drive going back) and went to Venice Beach for lunch and a quick stroll.

It wasn’t really a jaw-dropping place but Venice Beach is considered as a tourist place. Many tourists visit the beach and an established lane of stores are seen there. The sand isn’t that beautiful; the water looks okay, but not too enticing for me to get wet right then and there.

Padres Won!

Padres vs. Marlins — It wasn’t a very exciting game though. Baseball has always been a slightly boring game for me – can be very dragging sometimes. We waited for two long hours before one of the teams – that’s Padres, of course – scored a point, which made them the winner! 🙂
