Post-Bazaar and Christmas

It has been a while since I got to sit in front of my computer, read and answer emails, do my long overdue homework for my Entrep course, and blog.

Days have been pretty stressful since I started with the bazaars and I have learned a lot of things as time went by.

Entrepreneurship-wise, I learned to expand my network, gather contacts, and keep them. I learned the art of detailed inventories (which I enjoy, by the way πŸ™‚ ) and the more complex accounting matters. Moreover, I learned how to deal with people I dislike. Hahaha! That was my weakness when I did the Entrep personality test. I am very transparent, therefore, I am always vocal about my feelings and thoughts, and pretend less. But this attitude of mine has to be mellowed down a little bit if I want to stay in business longer. πŸ™‚ So far, I’m doing fine in trying my best to deal with people who are my exact opposites.

(By the way, thanks to those who supported, visited, and bought items from my booths! πŸ™‚ )

Talking about being grateful, I would like to extend my appreciation to all those who greeted me (and gave me presents) during my birthday. πŸ™‚ I have yet to celebrate my birthday (cum Christmas party) with the kids in the Philippine Orthopedic Center. I have longed to celebrate life with them, and I’m glad that at last, even with the totally crazy December schedule, I have managed to put things together for the kids, with the help of some friends. πŸ™‚

The bazaar’s egress was just yesterday and I feel like I haven’t slept for a month! I just finished doing my Christmas list (and wish list! Haha!). I’ll have to allot at least three days for Christmas shopping and the rest of the days for parties and get togethers. I haven’t attended Misa de Gallo since bazaar days (bad, bad, bad!) and I promised myself to attend as soon as I recover from stress.

Will be uploading bazaar photos soon. In the meantime, enjoy your Christmas shopping! While doing so, don’t forget that Christmas is all about the birth of our Saviour. πŸ™‚

Have a Blessed Christmas everyone! πŸ™‚
